Good afternoon, this is your principal, Brian Walsh, with a learning update for the upcoming week of December 14 - December 18. Next week, those students and teachers currently in quarantine will remain in quarantine until their assigned dates of return. Teachers will continue reaching out to you to make arrangements for your remote learning. All other students will return to in-person learning at school next week on their regularly scheduled cohort days of Tue/Thu or Wed/Fri. Thank you all for your patience and efforts as we continue to work towards safely and effectively teaching and learning.

Please join us in sharing your holiday decorations with your friends. Student Council is sponsoring a friendly competition; remember the pumpkin contest in October. Take a photo of yourself with your holiday decoration, either inside or outside. Send your photo to Mrs. Clain or Mackenzie Stepp. We will then make a slide presentation and let students select the best entry in each category, inside and outside. The winners will receive gift certificates for Dunkin.

We are down to the final 2 Animated Movie Songs in the Movie Bracket. Mr. Murray's wife was harsh in her assessment of each song, especially towards Mr. Murray himself. Let the sympathy reign! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qlbQbtm4HXhr2SfpXoLPnU6HtOMyCsqt75gPo1xwhDI/edit

Student Council is once again collecting non-perishable foods to create Thanksgiving boxes for families in Hermon, Carmel and Levant. There are labeled boxes in each home room. Students are invited to donate foods to round out Thanksgiving dinner for a needy family; vegetables, stuffing, soup, dessert. Or donate money that Student Council can use to buy other staples. The collection will continue until November 20.
